  The National Museum Institute started functioning in 1990. The first batch of students passed out in 1992. And the first Convocation was held in 1992. Subsequently Convocation was held regularly till 1995 i.e. the fourth convocation. After that, 5th Convocation was held in 1997 due to administrative difficulty. The 1998 Convocation could not be held and now slated for January 2000. During the period under report a total of 250 students registered in the above mentioned three courses (M.A & Ph.D.).

Out of the above mentioned registered students of M.A. and Ph.D. course, the total number of students passed out are as under:

The Institute so far held five Convocations in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 & 1997 and conferred degrees.
